Resources
A resource represents any type of our services (like transactions, categories, groups and more) which you are using everywhere in the app.
Categories
What is a category, what are they used for, how to insert them?
What is a category?
A category is a way to group transactions.
For example, you may have multiple transactions related to a specific field (eg. food), and that makes sense, because you buy food multiple times. Therefore, all your food transactions should be inserted into a food category.
Having multiple categories with multiple transactions in each one of them helps you seeing your spendings clearly, identify a transaction faster and organize your budgets and limits.
How to create a category?
You can create a new category from your categories page. From there, you just have to click the "Add Category" sign to create one.
Category's fields
A field represents a category attribute.
There is only one field you are requested to input, and that is the Category Name
.
As it's name suggests, the Category Name represents the name you want to give to your category.
